Ear Care

Research shows that complications involving the ear are the leading health issue for dogs and rank eighth among our furry feline friends. Yet, this condition is preventable.

Shaking of the head or scratching at the ears

Discharge from the ears, especially if it is moist

Don’t let your pet suffer. First of all, I recommend that you have your pet checked by your veterinarian to be sure there is not a foreign object in the ear; such as a foxtail. If the discomfort is not caused by an foreign object, then keeping the ears clean is important to maintain healthy ears. It should be noted that some breeds of dogs are prone to ear infections, such as Cocker Spaniels.
